the greatest roots album EVER December 4, 1998
Just like it says above, heartfelt vocals, sufferation, Lee Perry moo cow noises in full effect, this is spiritual stuff. Black Arks finest moment. I'm led to believe there are some five or so different versions of the "Heart of the Congos " album, & having heard one other, I can safely say the quality of this Blood & Fire remaster is by far superior to the original international release. Buy this now, and enjoy it for years.
